Trading crypto on a funded account
Crypto moves fast and around the clock. That volatility is where the opportunity is — and where accounts get blown. A few habits that keep your challenge alive:
- ✓ Size for the gap: crypto can jump on the weekend when other markets are shut, so keep positions small enough that an overnight move stays inside your buffer.
- ✓ Respect the limits — max daily loss is 5% and max overall loss is 10% of the account balance. A single leveraged BTC swing can breach both.
- ✓ Use hard stops. Slippage on thin altcoin pairs is real; a stop-market order protects your account when a wick runs against you.
