What is a funded trading account?

A funded trading account lets a trader demonstrate skill on a defined account balance without depositing that balance personally. At Capifront, every evaluation and funded account is a simulated demo environment using virtual funds and market-price data. Capifront is not a broker and does not place your trades in a live market. Traders who meet the objectives and follow the rules can qualify for a simulated funded account and may receive real performance-based rewards under the payout terms.

Choose the evaluation path that matches your style

There is no single challenge format that suits every trader. Capifront offers One-Step, Two-Step, Three-Step, Pro and Instant paths. Account sizes range up to $200,000. Each plan has its own profit target, maximum daily loss, maximum overall loss and minimum trading-day requirement. Review the live challenge pricing and objectives before purchasing, because the selected plan's terms control your evaluation.

How the process works

  1. Select an account. Compare plan targets, limits, price and account size.
  2. Trade the evaluation. Work toward the target while staying inside every risk limit.
  3. Complete required phases. Pass each phase without a prohibited practice or account breach.
  4. Trade the funded stage. Continue with the same disciplined approach on a simulated funded account.
  5. Request a reward. Eligible traders can request performance-based payouts under the published schedule and conditions.

Risk limits matter more than speed

A prop firm challenge is not only a profit test. It is a risk-control test. The daily loss limit includes floating positions and can be breached even if a trade later recovers. The overall loss limit is a hard account floor. A trader who reaches a target but breaches either limit does not pass. That is why position sizing, stop-loss discipline and total open exposure should be decided before entering a trade.

Payouts and profit split

Funded-stage payouts are discretionary real-money performance rewards based on simulated trading results; they are not withdrawals of live trading profits. Eligibility depends on identity verification, account standing, minimum activity, consistency, the payout schedule and all other published conditions. Eligible profit splits can be up to 90%. Always check the current payout overview and full rules for exact requirements.

Who is Capifront for?

Capifront is designed for traders who already have a repeatable method and want clear objectives for demonstrating it. It is not a shortcut to guaranteed income. Trading remains high risk, simulated results do not guarantee future performance, and evaluation fees can be lost after a breach. Traders should only purchase an evaluation they understand and can afford.
